Watching

I just finished ‘Dead to Me’ on Netflix which I LOVED and now I’m into ‘Good Girls’ which is crazy fun to see a group of strong women fed up with playing by the rules and not getting the respect they deserve taking charge.

Listening

Lizzo and Leon Bridges for my jams, and my favourite podcasts right now are Goop, The Design Files Talks, Magic Lessons with Elizabeth Gilbert and The Pineapple Project.

Reading

I just finished 3 great and very different reads. After the Party by Cassie Hamer - I couldn’t put it down and devoured it in one weekend (if you like Liane Moriarty books you’ll like this one too). Goodwood by Holly Throsby, very nostalgic read as it’s set in a small Australian town in the early 90’s and has you guessing to solve two mysterious disappearances (next I’m reading Holly’s other novel). The third book was The Awakened Family by Shefali Tsabary, which has transformed the way I parent through being more mindful, self-aware and calmer in the chaos!

Listening to

Low Tox Life Podcast - great all rounder for low tax living

Who The Hell is Hamish Podcast - The Australian presents a real life ‘catch me if you can’ story.

The Cinematic Orchestra: To Believe - new album from one of my favourites, beautiful music from this UK ensemble.. worth waiting 12 years since their last release

Disney Hits - Not my choice for car music but have been known to sing along …loudly…

Reading

The Signature of all Things, Elizabeth Gilbert - leant to me by Peta, such a great read and epic story. So different to Eat Pray Love. A very interesting read.

Big Little Lies - season 2 - Who knew I could love the second season more than the first?! These characters & the actors who play them are pure perfection. The Bold Type, another favourite that hits all the spots.

Listening
Feeling too time poor lately so podcasts are purely a Wishlist item right now - its just music on the school runs! Maggie Rogers, Lana Del Ray, Lizzo, Imported and endless list of favourites are all in the mix right now... plus my 10 year's old current obsession with Elton John after watching Rocketman

The Hate You Give was a phenomenal read and next on my wishlist are More Than Enough by Elaine Welteroth & City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert

The Marvellous Mrs Maisel (on Prime) Set in the 1958’s in New York, about a woman who becomes a stand up comedian. Everything about this is amazing, including back drop and costumes! It’s quirky, funny and incredibly clever... Love Love Love

Listening to

All the Light We Cannot See, Anthony Doerr (Audible) Beautiful book that I’ve been recommended so many times I’ve lost count. Great having a hiatus from self help stuff such as Brene Brown and Oprah podcasts. Set in the 1940’s in Paris / Germany. So far I’m loving it but can’t tell you much more as I’m only 2 hours in of a 15 hour listen.

Reading

Boy Swallows Universe, Trent Dalton. Amazing, extremely entertaining with such vocabulary delights. This book takes your head everywhere and back again. I’m loving it.

I’ve just started listening to The Subtle Art of Not Giving F*** Audiobook to see what all he hype is about...

I’m getting towards the end of Killing Commendatore, which I’ve been on for a while! It’s a super interesting book set in Japan, about an artist and an 'Idea' that takes on the form of a character from a painting which leads to a circle of mysterious circumstances.
